The Mazin Art Exhibition at the Jewish Community Center is an annual display of some of the best that our area has to offer. Many of the names are familiar, and a few are not, but the artistic quality is always top-notch. The 23 artists selected to participate this year were chosen by Joey Yates, curator at the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft. More than $1,500 was awarded to the first, second and third place winners. First place went to Dorothy Kavka’s “Metamorphosis,” with Susanne Adams receiving second and Anne Huntington third. Honorable mentions were given to Linda Erzinger and Karen Buckingham. Other artists in the show are Ann Stewart Anderson, Ron Anderson, William Beasley, Patricia Brock, Dave Caudill, Nancy Currier, Lynn Duke, Gweneth Dunleavy, Jake Ford, Philip High, Robert Mitchell, Tom Pfannerstill, Marti Plager, Colleen Reasor, Gibbs Rounsavall, Suzanne Sidebottom, Monica Stewart and Russie Wight-Waltman.
