Staff Pick: 12th Annual Kentucky Women’s Book Festival

The Kentucky Women’s Book Festival is, in its own words, a “celebration of the written word, focusing on Kentucky women writers and their readers.” The festival features talks by local authors Sheri Riley, Carolyn Furdek and Aimee Zaring, and a keynote address by author and founder of the Kentucky Foundation for Women, Sallie Bingham. Women Who Write, a local women’s writers’ group, will hold a workshop: “So, You Want to Write: Let’s Get Started.” All festival sessions are free, except for a $10, optional lunch, and attendees are asked to register.
