‘…And After…’
by Bette Levy

If we’re lucky, we are able to honor our loved ones by helping them at end of their lives. The subtitle of textile artist Bette Levy’s show “…And After…” is “an exhibition of reminiscence.” It is in memory of her husband who died of cancer in 2016. Levy, a former art therapist, is using her creativity to weather the variety of emotions that come in the wake of loss. Her art is letting viewers in on her journey. The opening reception is Friday, Oct. 27 from 6-9 p.m. Levy will be giving a gallery talk on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 10 a.m.
