On Tuesday, July 28, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., the Food Literacy Project's Youth Community Agriculture Project (YCAP) will activate "Grain Pit," a sculpture installed in Republic Bank as part of Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft’s “Food Shelter Clothing” exhibition. They will be selling fresh vegetables they grew and harvested at Oxmoor Farm. They are also offering educational activities through the Food Literacy Project's Truck Farm — a mobile, edible learning garden planted in the back of a pickup truck — and giving a presentation on what they've learned spending a summer growing and distributing fresh vegetables. A formal presentation will be given at 12 p.m. Republic Bank, 601 W. Market St. (
