Fleur de Flea was named one of the best flea markets in the U.S. by Martha Stewart. Gigi M. | Yelp

Louisville’s own Fleur de Flea Outdoor Market has won national acclaim, earning the No. 4 spot on MarthaStewart.com’s list of the best 15 flea markets in the United States.

The outdoor vintage market is known for its colorful, treasure-filled environment. It takes over Waterfront Park Plaza four times a year and has more than 200 merchants offering anything from antique furniture and clothing to collectible vinyl records and one-of-a-kind items. The next outdoor market will be on Saturday, August 30, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., including food trucks, pop-up bars, and DJs. The event is free and pet-friendly.

Fleur de Flea’s permanent 35,000-square-foot indoor market in old Paristown is open all year for those who can’t wait. There are more than 100 vendors inside selling antique clothes, furniture, art deco items, plants, books, and more. The indoor market is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m.

Fleur de Flea isn’t the only Kentucky market to make the Martha Stewart list—the 127 Yard Sale, which passes through Kentucky, came in at No. 9.
