Get Out Of Your House For A Day Of Fall Activities At Jefferson Memorial Forest

Fall is the ideal season for spending time in the woods, and the Wilderness Louisville Forest Adventure this Saturday, Oct. 16 has plenty of great outdoor activities to enjoy. 

Afternoon activities at Jefferson Memorial Forest include archery, pond study, guided hikes, pumpkin decorating, hay rides and nature play. Nighttime activities include live music by Kiana & the Sun Kings, a spooky hike on the cemetery trail, stargazing and s’mores by the bonfire. 

Make sure to bring a picnic dinner if you want a more hearty meal.

Afterward, you can elect to spend the night in the woods for a $15 camping fee. You must reserve your spot for camping. Sign up by calling 368-5404.
