Monday

YMCA Fit on Fourth 4th Street Live! 6 p.m. Finding the right fitness class for yourself can be an expensive endeavor. Thankfully, the YMCA offers a complimentary one-hour fitness class. These free Fourth Street Live! classes are held every second Monday of the month while the weather allows it.

Tuesday

UofL vs. Western Kentucky (Men’s Baseball) Jim Patterson Stadium 6 p.m. With college basketball over and college football yet to start, loyal UofL fans should turn their attention to the only college sport left, baseball. Watch UofL vs. Western Kentucky at Jim Patterson Stadium and be sure to don your best pink outfit for cancer awareness night.

Defining Five & The Best Year  Haymarket Whiskey Bar 6 p.m. We Listen For You and LEO asks five artists from the Louisville music scene to pick five songs they love, play them during a happy hour DJ set, and tell us about their emotional connection to them (we’ll post an article with their responses on Thursday.)

Royal Wednesday Hip-hop Concert  Kaiju (bar) 9 p.m. A giant-monster themed bar + some badass hip-hop = one hell of a night. Featured artists at this month’s Royal Wednesday include Mooga Malone, Ray Reap, Mike Rocker, Corner Store Bundy and Louie Velli.

Vinyl Night with DJ’s Lauren Kendall, Andrew Spade, Victor Corbett Mag Bar 9 p.m., 21+ Decompress from your work-week woes with some of Mag Bar’s favorite DJs. DJ’s Lauren Kendall, Andrew Spade and Victor Corbett will be spinning the best in alt, indie, hip-hop, electronic vinyl till 2 in the morning. And with $2 fireball shots, I'm sure you’ll be there until they shut it down.

Thursday

Sega Playtendo Party! Kaiju (bar) 7 p.m. Thanks to Book and Music Exchange, there will be a variety of retro gaming consoles for everyone including Sega, Playstation 1-3, Dreamcast and Nintendo. As well as games like Mario Party 1-3, Pokemon Stadium 1-2, Metal Slug X and the bizarre Typing of the Dead.

Friday

Battle Of The Formigny Day Cure Lounge 6 p.m. It’s finally Friday, and the Cure Lounge has everything you need to start your weekend off right. Plenty of drinks and a free concert that includes acts by Shawn Sleeps Naked, Ben Traughber (from Dream Eye Color Wheel), The Campers and Houses in Motion.
