Monday

Outdoor Screening of 'Grease' Iroquois Amphitheater Free; 7:30 p.m. Grab your sweetheart and head to Iroquois Park for a night under the stars with the classic musical, “Grease.” This screening at the Iroquois Amphitheater is first come first serve, so make sure and get there early.

Wednesday

I Am Ali Festival Kentucky Center for the Arts Free; 10 a.m. This impromptu festival is meant to celebrate the life of Muhammad Ali and his "journey and fierce determination as an example to all children that no matter the circumstances, they can be the greatest." There will be booths and entertainment provided by the Kentucky Science Center, Louisville Zoo and Louisville Free Public Library, as well as other local arts and education organizations.

Bat House and more! Cure Lounge Free; 9 p.m. Come to Cure Lounge for some strange and psychedelic music. Bands for this concert include Bat House out of Boston, Royal House from Louisville and Plastic Melodies, who are also out of Louisville.

Thursday

New Bravado and more! Modern Cult Records $5; 8 p.m. For a measly $5, you can hear the sweet tunes of the Louisville rock band, New Bravado, the psychedelic rock band from Chicago Rabble Rabble, and the slightly heavier sounds of the indie rock band from Louisville, Rarebit Victorian Halls and more! Tim Faulkner Gallery $5; 8:30 p.m. Two bands pop/rock bands from California, Victorian Halls and Between California and Summer, are coming to Tim Faulkner Gallery for a night of music and partying. The bands sound exactly how you would expect pop/rock bands from California would sound, but that fits well with the warm weather so live it up!

Freddie Was A Boxer and more! Kaiju $5; 9 p.m. Slap a fiver down on this 21-and-over concert with music by the post-grunge band, Freddie Was A Boxer, the psychedelic rock band Pop Empire and the pop band Soft Self Portraits.

ReSurfaced: Metro United Way LINC Night ReSurfaced (319 S. Shelby St.) Free; 6 p.m. ReSurfaced is at it again, remaking a plain plot into an amazing party spot. This Thursday, in addition to drinks and food trucks, there will be live music by Adventure and DJ Whoodie. And proceeds from the event go to Metro United Way.

Friday

Pay your respects to 'The Greatest' All over Louisville Free; Times vary Muhammad Ali will be taking his last journey through the streets of Louisville this Friday as he heads to his final resting place in Cave Hill Cemetery. So, check the Louisville Metro website for a map of the route, set some time aside and step outside to pay your respects to the man from Louisville who "shook up the world!" A public celebration of Ali's life will also take place at the KFC Yum Center at 2 p.m. (information on how to obtain tickets will be released shorty. For those who can't make it or don't get tickets, The Ali Center will be streaming the ceremony live).

ReSurfaced: Sixth For A Cause benefit night ReSurfaced (319 S. Shelby St.) Free; 7 p.m. And as if one ReSurfaced event on Thursday wasn’t enough, there is another party Friday. With live music by Black Birds of Paradise and The Tunesmiths. And the proceeds from this event go towards Sixth For A Cause. ReSurfaced continues on Saturday.

Five On It The Hub (Louisville) $5; 4 p.m. Looking for some cheaply-priced, but scrumptiously-good food when you get off work on Friday? Well the Hub has you covered with their Five On It event. There will be $5 food and drink specials from 4–7 p.m., and live music by JP Source and Aaron Narwhal Chadwell.

Adventure and more! Zanzabar $5; 8 p.m. This 21 and over concert features music by the band, Adventure (whose sounds is a bizarre but intriguing mix of punk rock and Texas swing) and The Family Secret (who described themselves as a punk band with a metal flair). Wild Adriatic and more! Bicentennial Park (New Albany) Free; 6:30 p.m. Get out in the warm summer sun this Friday for a free concert series at Bicentennial Park in New Albany, Indiana. This series event includes acts by the rock band Wild Adriatic and soul-driven musician Justin Paul Lewis.

Dark Side of the Wall (Pink Floyd tribute) Jeffersonville River Stage Free; 7 p.m. Feeling like tuning in and dropping out this weekend? Well, head over to the Jeffersonville River Stage (in Jeffersonville, Indiana), for a concert by Dark Side of the Wall (a Pink Floyd tribute). If you didn’t guess already, this band recreates Pink Floyd’s seminal album The Wall.
