Guest brewers Freigeist Bierkultur, Mahrs Bräu and Ritterguts are coming all the way from Germany to showcase a few specially brewed altbiers (a dark beer specific to the region around Düsseldorf, Germany). STOOK plays Kaiju Kaiju Free | 10 p.m. Join Stook, a fringe band from Louisville, as they play some experimental jazz/punk at Kaiju this Thursday. And to satisfy your spiritual needs, Kaiju will also play 1979s Alien on its big-ass projector. Its an unusual pairing, but nothing about Halloween week should be the usual.
