Ladies and gents, this is the moment you’ve waited for: In just a few weeks, the circus will be back in town.

Vernardos Circus, an animal-free traveling circus, will be returning to Louisville at the Big Four Lawn from Dec. 2-12 underneath a classic big-top tent. This is its first time back in Louisville since 2019.

The show bills itself as a traditional traveling circus with a Broadway musical-style format. Performers slated to appear include jugglers, daredevils, magicians, aerialists, acrobats and more.

Each show lasts about 90 minutes and has a brief intermission, plus an hour of preshow entertainment beforehand.

Ticket prices start at $15 for children 12 and under, and at $25 for adults, though there are a limited number of half-price tickets available for opening night. Buy your tickets at this link.
