Enjoy A Filipino Feast At Louisville’s First Filipino American Heritage Picnic

October is Filipino American History Month, and the Asia Institute-Crane House is celebrating with its first ever Filipino American Heritage Picnic this Sunday, Oct. 17.

It’s a potluck, so bring something of your own for a delicious, authentic Filipino feast at EP “Tom” Sawyer State Park.

There will also be folk dance performances and more family-friendly fun.

America’s Filipino population has steadily climbed over the last 20 years or so, with over 4 million Filipinos living in the United States in 2019. Louisville’s Crane House is all about helping the city’s Asian communities share their heritage through educational and cultural programs.
