The Kentucky Crafted Market (March 2–4) Kentucky Exposition Center Prices and times vary Hallelujah, it’s back! After six years in Lexington, the Kentucky Crafted Market is returning to Louisville. The signature event of the Kentucky Arts Council, the Market brags it has “the largest number of Kentucky artists … under one roof.” Not only art, but there are also books, Kentucky Proud food and music. A highlight this year is an exhibition by the Kentucky Documentary Photographic Project, with photographs ranging from 1935 to the present. For the first time in its 37 years, there will be public hours on Friday, March 2 from 5-8 p.m. (during the day, Friday is wholesale buyers only). —Jo Anne Triplett

Louisville Arcade Expo 2018 (March 2–4) Ramada Plaza Hotel $30 day pass; $70 three day pass  |  Times vary The Louisville Arcade Expo is three days of retro gaming at its finest, with hundreds of pinball and arcade machines. There will also be retro consoles, including the Atari 2600, NES, Sega Genesis, N64 and even a few never-before-seen consoles such as the CD-I, TurboGrafx 16 and Pioneer Laseractive. And don’t worry about dragging around a bag of quarters: All machines are set to free-play. Don't forget the tournaments, costume contest, seminars and vendors at this expo — it’s everything your 8-bit heart could want.

SATURDAY

Shamrock Beer Run Louisville Waterfront Park $35  |  1-6 p.m. Registration for this race ends Friday at midnight, so sign up ASAP, because this fun run is worth attending. Runners will receive a craft beer sample at the start and each kilometer of the race, and a full pint at the finish. Runners will also get a long-sleeve shirt, a commemorative pint glass and a finisher’s medal.

Spring Used Book Sale: Saturday and Sunday Hours (March 3–4) Locust Grove No cover  |  10 a.m.-7 p.m. Looking for a new read? Head to Locust Grove for a book sale that includes over 20,000 used, antiquarian and new books. Prices start at $1 for paperbacks and $2 for most hardcovers, with special discounts Sunday. All books are sorted by category, which according to organizers, will include history, biography, mysteries, reference, science fiction, travel, cookbooks, children’s, Kentucky, romance, crafts, gardening “and much, much, more!”

Spice Up Your Brunch! Locations vary Prices and times vary It’s Sunday, you’ve woken up late with a hangover, and all you want is brunch. Well here are a few unusual ones. There’s the Drag Brunch at Hub Louisville ($30; 11 a.m.-3 p.m.) with a brunch buffet, $1 mimosas and performances by Uhstel H. Valentine, Chasity Marie, Anya Androvna and hosted by Vanessa Demornay; There’s Le Moo Le Femme Drag Brunch at Le Moo ($35; 11 a.m.-3 p.m.) where promoters say you can “enjoy a delicious brunch buffet while top-notch divas put on an unforgettable show!”; and Green Eggs & Ham Brunch with LFPL Pop-Up at Garage Bar (no cover; 11 a.m.-4 p.m.) with a Green Egg Hunt with prizes, brunch specials, fun crafts for the kids and a pop-up mini-library from 12-2 p.m., courtesy of Louisville Free Public Library.
