So start by donating winter coats at this coat drive for Kentucky Refugee Ministries and the Center for Women and Families. Little Heart Records got its name from founder Bryan Puckett, who suffered from a congenital heart defect. Puckett passed away this year, but the heartbeat of his record company is still strong. Come celebrate the 11th anniversary of this local music powerhouse, with performances by 14 bands including Greyhaven, Shadowpact, Dick Titty Blood Punch and more.

This beautifully-shot epic is an adaptation of Shakespeare’s “King Lear,” by legendary director Akira Kurosawa. And if any movie was ever deserving of a ultra-high-definition restoration, it was this one. The film is filled with stunning landscapes and well-constructed scenes depicting life and war in feudal Japan.
