Brou-Ha-Ha is Adventure’s Kentucky Fried lo-fi version of Americana. The album’s final and only live song, “Let the Bad Times Roll,” is a recording that highlights the singer’s true power and potential — something that none of the previous songs managed to accurately capture. The band allows twinkles of splendor to dissipate as they facilitate a sing-along that’s reminiscent of summer camp with one anchor, and a few participants who decide to awkwardly clap. That said, there are other moments of glory that do not fade as quickly: the slow-danceable groove of “Somewhere Backstage,” the hot guitar lead-in to “Dirty Mouth,” the seizing funk riff on “Right Mind.” Even the cartoon cover art, drawn by a band member, is fantastic.
