Tin Can Trust

After speaking out against controversial immigration policies in Arizona, Los Lobos makes another aural statement. Touting an uninterrupted lineup for more than two decades, Los Lobos has put out their first original work in four years. Tin Can Trust is right in line with what they’re known for. True to form, they seduce with two Spanish language songs, “Yo Canto” and “Mujer Ingrata,” and the cumbia vibe is irresistible. Grateful Dead fans will appreciate the cover of “West L.A. Fadeaway” — a faithful nod to a group Los Lobos opened for in the ’80s.
