The Speed Art Museum’s (www.speedmuseum.org) “Brown-Forman Art After Dark: Fleur de Lis” is Friday, Feb. 5, from 7-11 p.m. Cost is $5 for members, $15 for non-members.

St. Francis High School’s IMAGINE 2010 (www.stfrancishighschool.com) is an auction of original works by local, regional and national artists. All proceeds from the event support scholarships and financial aid for students who could not otherwise afford to attend the school. The auction is Saturday, Feb. 6, at 6:30 p.m. at the Mellwood Arts & Entertainment Center. Tickets are $125 or $50 for participating artists.

The Kentucky Foundation for Women (www.kfw.org) is conducting a free workshop on Wednesday, Feb. 10, for its “Art Meets Activism” grants at the Louisville Free Public Library, Iroquois branch, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Reservations are required. KFW recently awarded 14 Artist Enrichment Grants to feminist artists and arts organizations. Louisville-area recipients are Rachel Grimes, Phoenix Lindsey-Hall, Maryelizabeth Christine-Pope, Allison Ogden and Mariam Williams.

SCOUT (www.scoutonmarket.com) at 801 E. Market St. is moving into its second store SCOUT HOUSE, 742 E. Market. They’re having a moving sale through Feb. 14, with 20-70 percent off throughout both stores.

Zephyr Gallery (www.zephyrgallery.org) at 610 E. Market St. is closed for remodeling through Feb. 18.

The Louisville Graphic Design Association (www.lgda.org) awarded two Platinum Awards for the first time in its history. The awards went to Lumberyard Magazine and Red 7e.

Call for Art: The second annual September Art Fair @ Mellwood is seeking poster designs for the fair at Mellwood Arts & Entertainment Center (www.mellwoodartcenter.com). Prize is $500. Deadline is Feb. 28.
