Ernspiker guitar auction
The guitar collection of Dave Ernspiker, the longtime frontman for Big Rock Show who passed away this year, will be auctioned to provide financial assistance to Dave’s father, Gene, who is on dialysis.

Former Diana Krall and Joey Defrancesco guitarist Dan Faehnle (www.danfaehnle.com) joins Dick Sisto during his residency at the Seelbach-Hilton (500 S. Heartwood turns 4
The fourth annual Kentucky Heartwood Festival (www.kyheartwood.org) kicks off at 3 p.m. Aug. 1 at Millville Community Center in Millville, Ky. The music and art exhibition lineup includes String Syndicate, The Eric Cummins Band and Green Genes. Cover is $7, but children under 12 are free. There’s also a horseshoe tournament, which should be a staple at any Kentucky festival involving Irish Catholics.
