The Children’s Free Art Classes of the Louisville Visual Art Association (896-2146) has work on exhibit at the Water Tower: middle and high schools through May 5; elementary schools May 13-26.

After cutting 38 jobs, Louisville Stoneware has begun to focus on specialized custom and online orders. It also closed its Oxmoor store but is considering reopening later elsewhere in the mall. The Brent Street facility remains open.
The American Institute of Architects/Central Kentucky Chapter is sponsoring the “Focus on Louisville Metro Architecture” Photography Contest. Artists may submit up to three photographs of the Greater Louisville area, including Southern Indiana, till May 22 (the photographs must be taken between April 9-May 22, 2007).
